Casey leads a yoga practice that focuses on strengthening and lengthening the body while bringing focus within.
A certified yoga instructor for more than four years, Casey’s style incorporates the posture elements of Ashtanga and the flow of Vinyasa. She finds this combination helpful in guiding students to let go of the day, leave whatever is happening outside, and tune in to the present moment. A former dancer and gymnast her classes are freckled with these components making her sequences uniquely graceful and challenging.
“Un-plugging is one of the most difficult and most beneficial things we can do for ourselves,” Casey says. Instrumental music keeps students’ minds from wandering back to their daily checklists, while infused oils create a pleasant therapeutic atmosphere at Savasana time.
